Neisseria gonorrhoeae

Between October 2005 and June 2008, gonococcal antimicrobial susceptibility test results were collected quarterly from the laboratories throughout the country that do the majority of the local gonococcal diagnostic work. The results were collated to provide current national and local data on antimicrobial resistance among gonococci. These data are reported in the quarterly reports below for the years 2005-2008.

This quarterly surveillance was discontinued in June 2008. National gonococcal susceptibility data is available on an annual basis in reports here.
