Human Salmonella Isolates, 2011 No. 7, July

Summary
The number of isolates (n=57) showed a decrease in comparison with July 2010 (n = 80). Salmonella Typhimurium phage type RDNC-May 06 (14%% in July 2010, 12.5% in July 2011) was the predominant serotype. Thirty-six percent of the Salmonella isolates confirmed by ERL this month were from cases who had recently travelled overseas.Note: Click on the document links below to open.
