Human Salmonella Isolates, 2013 No. 3, March

Summary
The number of isolates (n=102) showed a slight decrease in comparison with March 2012 (n = 110). Salmonella Typhimurium phage type 160 (7.2% in March 2012 and 9.8% in March 2013) was the predominant serotype. Uncommon Salmonella serotypes confirmed this month included S.
