Human Salmonella Isolates, 2003

Summary
One thousand sixteen hundred and one isolates were confirmed in 2003 compared with 2067 in 2002. S Typhimurium phage type 160 was the predominant strain isolated. S Typhimurium isolates previously reported as phage type RDNC Aug-01 have now been identified as phage type 74.
