Human Salmonella isolates, 2016 No.11, November
The number of isolates (n=89) confirmed this month showed an increase in comparison to the number of isolates confirmed in November 2015 (n=77). Salmonella Typhimurium phage type 56 variant (10.1% in November 2016 vs 5.2% in November 2015) was the most common serotype confirmed this month.
