Human Salmonella isolates, 2019 No.04, April
The number of isolates (n=79) confirmed this month showed a decrease in comparison to the number of isolates confirmed in April 2018 (n=83). Salmonella Typhimurium phage type 101 and Salmonella Enteritidis phage type 11 (10.8% and 6% in April 2018 vs 7.6% in April 2019) were the most common serotypes confirmed this month.
