Summary
A case control study is being undertaken in North West Auckland as a result of an outbreak of S. Enteritidis phage type 9a with 8 cases confirmed linked to a Kebab cafe.An increase in isolates of S. Typhimurium phage type 156 has been alerted to all health districts.
