Summary

The number of non-human Salmonella serotypes has increased from 156 in the first quarter of 2007 to 220 in the first quarter of 2008.33 isolates of Salmonella were isolated from skinks and geckos whose habitat were off-shore islands around New Zealand. These isolates were obtained from a combined project between the Department of Conservation and Massey University.
