Summary
As from January 2012, the non-human Salmonella serotypes has been published on a monthly basis, replacing the quarterly reports from previous years. The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 66 non-human Salmonella isolates in February 2012.
Salmonella Elomrane was confirmed for the first time in New Zealand from poultry feed.
