Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 48 non-human Salmonella isolates in February 2013 compared with 66 in 2012.This month a decrease in the numbers of bovine isolates (from 23 in February 2012 to 4 isolates in 2013) and S. Typhimurium isolates (from 21 in February 2012 to 7 isolates in 2013) was observed.
