Non-Human Salmonella Isolates, 2013 No. 3, March

Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 40 non-human Salmonella isolates in March 2013 compared with 101 in 2012.There was a decrease in animal isolates from 54 in March 2012 to 19 in 2013, and a decrease in the number of S. Typhimurium isolates from 49 in March 2012 to 13 in 2013.
