Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 44 non-human Salmonella isolates in October 2014 compared with 59 October 2013.
There was a decrease in the number of Salmonella bovine isolates (34 in 2013 versus 24 in 2014) and Salmonella Typhimurium isolates (30 in 2013 versus 17 in 2014).
