Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 58 non-human Salmonella isolates in July 2015 compared with 48 July 2014.
There was an increase in the number of:
- Bovine isolates (10 in July 2014, 22 in July 2015)
- Salmonella Bovisborbificans isolates (0 in July 2014, 7 in July 2015)
- Salmonella Typhimurium phage type 56 variant isolates (3 in July 2014, 16 in July 2015)
