Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 16 non-human Salmonella isolates in December 2015 compared with 23 in December 2014.
There was decrease in the number of animal isolates (21 in 2014 vs. 9 in 2015).
There was an increase in the number of poultry isolates (0 in 2014 vs. 4 in 2015).
