Summary
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 48 non-human Salmonella isolates in April 2016 compared with 30 in April 2015.
There was an increase in the number of bovine isolates (12 in 2015 vs. 17 in 2016) and meat and bone meal isolates (1 in 2015 vs. 11 in 2016).
