Non-Human Salmonella Isolates, 2016 No. 12. December
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 34 non-human Salmonella isolates in December 2016 compared with 16 in November 2015.
There was an increase in the number of S. Infantis isolates (1 in 2015 vs. 7 in 2016) and in the number of S. Typhimurium phage type 101 isolates (1 in 2015 versus 8 in 2016).
