Non-Human Salmonella Isolates, 2017 No. 4. April
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 51 non-human Salmonella isolates in April 2017 compared with 48 in April 2016.
There was an increase in the number of Salmonella Bovismorbificans isolates (13 in 2017 vs. 4 in 2016) and Salmonella Typhimurium phage type 101 isolates (9 in 2017 vs. 4 in 2016).
There was a decrease in the number of Salmonella Brandenburg isolates (0 in 2017 vs. 7 in 2016)
