Non-Human Salmonella Isolates, 2018 No. 1. January
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 56 non-human Salmonella isolates in January 2018 compared with 40 in January 2017.
There was an increase in the number of S. Bovismorbificans isolates (14 in 2018 vs. 7 in 2017), S. Hindmarsh isolates (5 in 2018 vs. 0 in 2017),Canine isolates (10 in 2018 vs. 1 in 2017) and in Ovine isolates (8 in 2018 vs. 2 in 2017).
There was a decrease in the number of Meat/Bone Meal isolates (0 in 2018 vs. 11 in 2017)
