Non-Human Salmonella Isolates, 2019 No. 02, February
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 39 non-human Salmonella isolates in February 2019 compared with 30 in February 2018.
There was an increase in the number of S. Mbandaka isolates (0 in 2018 vs. 7 in 2019), ovine isolates (3 in 2018 vs. 7 in 2019) and poultry environmental isolates (2 in 2018 vs. 8 in 2019)
There was a decrease in the number of bovine isolates (16 in 2018 vs. 11 in 2019)
