STI Lab Surveillance: Quarterly Reports Oct-Dec 2017

Monday 23rd July 2018

Summary

The tables below present District Health Board (DHB) and estimated national quarterly rates of chlamydia and gonorrhoea from diagnostic laboratories across New Zealand for the last five quarters. More detailed DHB level reports are available by clicking on the DHB name in the tables below. As complete data is not yet available for Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Lakes, quarter four reports for these DHB's and New Zealand have not been published.

For a DHB to be included in the analysis, all laboratories servicing that DHB must have participated in the surveillance programme (unless the non-participating laboratory was a hospital laboratory undertaking a small proportion of the DHB’s STI testing). For further details on methods used, limitations of the data and current participating laboratories refer to the latest Sexually Transmitted Infections in New Zealand Annual Surveillance Report.
