In New Zealand, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are not notifiable. Therefore surveillance efforts are based on voluntary provision of data from laboratories and clinics. These reports present data on chlamydia, gonorrhoea, genital herpes, genital warts, syphilis and non-specific urethritis (males only), chancroid, granuloma inguinale, and lymphogranuloma venereum cases reported for the quarter from sexual health and family planning clinics across New Zealand. From 2019 quarterly syphilis and gonorrhoea reporting is in a dashboard format (see link below) and all other clinic data will be reported annually. https://www.esr.cri.nz/our-services/consultancy/public-health/sti/
